Q: What is the LamProbe?
The Lam Probe is an instrument which quickly and effectively treats a variety of common skin irregularities including age spots, benign moles,  cherry angiomas, cholesterol deposits, clogged pores, milia, and skin tags.

Q: Who is a candidate for the LamProbe?
Men and women of any age who have benign, minor conditions of the skin may be good candidates for the LamProbe.

Q: Where is the LamProbe procedure performed?
The LamProbe procedure is performed at our office.

Q: Is anesthesia used for the LamProbe procedure?
Anesthesia is not necessary for the LamProbe procedure.

Q: How is the LamProbe procedure performed?
The LamProbe is applied to the skin for just three to five seconds per spot, effectively sealing off the blood flow to the treated spot.

Q: How long is the procedure time for a LamProbe treatment?
The LamProbe process takes just three to five seconds per spot. Patients may require a repeat treatment.

Q: What is the recovery like after the LamProbe procedure?
While patients can return to their normal routine immediately after treatment with the LamProbe, a healing time of a couple of days to one week can be expected.

Q: When will I be able to return to work after my LamProbe procedure?
Work and other normal activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.

Q: What are the risks or possible complications of the LamProbe?
The LamProbe procedure is virtually risk free.
